Jocelyn McLean Adams. 

Jocelyn is a homesteader, musician, visual artist, and author with twenty-three years working in design, human experience, and communications. 

As an advocate, educator, and policy consultant, Jocelyn uses people-first design-thinking at all identifiable touchpoints that craft the client, patient, or customer experience.

Currently, Jocelyn is leading Sex & Gender Health Equity initiatives as the Executive Director of Gender Affirming Care Prince Edward Island Inc. 

She is a contributor to numerous working groups and task forces across Canada, including, The Maritime SPOR Support Unit, Healthcare Excellence Canada, Health PEI, Women's Health Research Institute, Women’s College Hospital, and The Enchanté Network. She is a full member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

 

In 2023, Jocelyn accepted a PEI Human Rights Award on behalf of her advocacy in trans health.
