Jocelyn is a design-thinker, creative problem-solver, and passionate educator. She uses people-first strategies and is profoundly dedicated to crafting client, patient, or customer experiences that help improve lives.
Having spent many decades in corporate marketing and advertising, Jocelyn now leads Sex & Gender Health Equity initiatives as the Executive Director of Gender Affirming Care Prince Edward Island Inc.
She has been an active contributor to numerous working groups and task forces across Canada, including, The Maritime SPOR Support Unit Sex and Gender Team, Healthcare Excellence Canada, Health PEI, Women's Health Research Institute, Women’s College Hospital, and The Enchanté Network. She is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
Jocelyn has positioned Prince Edward Island as a leader in health equity for trans women, for which she was awarded a PEI Human Rights Award in 2023. She co-founded one of the only not-for-profit organization dedicated solely to lifelong trans health in Canada—redefining what it means to employ community-led care in collaboration with public health authorities.
